Erling Haaland broke the Premier League scoring record as Manchester City beat West Ham 3-0 to go top of the table.

The Norwegian striker, who has now scored 27 goals in 22 appearances this season, gave City the lead in the 30th minute with a close-range finish.

Riyad Mahrez doubled the lead with a stunning free-kick just before half-time, and Haaland added his second of the game in the 68th minute to seal the victory.

The win moves City back to the top of the table, one point ahead of Arsenal, who have a game in hand.

West Ham remain in 18th place, just one point above the relegation zone.
